As many of you are already aware my niece Bernadette McLaughlan (née Flynn) suffered from an amniotic fluid embolism just day’s before she was due to give birth to her 3rd child. Tragically the baby did not survive but somehow by the grace of God Bernadette is still alive and fightng in intensive care.
Recovery will be a long, slow and difficult process (thus far she has had her right hand, her left arm and toes amputated due to septicaemia).
Bernadette and her husband Mark attend Mass at the Society chapel in Gateshead and are blessed with two young children.
For the generous souls who have been praying for Bernadette and her family, our family are extremely grateful.
For those of you unaware, your prayers and sacrifices would be much appreciated.
Lastly, a justgiving page has been started for the young family, if you are able to make any contribution it will be humbly and gratefully received.
On behalf of Bernadette, Mark and the family, many thanks and God bless.
